Chadwick Boseman Memorial Mural Debuts at Downtown Disney
As the world is still trying to come to terms with the untimely passing of Chadwick Boseman, Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort in California have just debuted a new mural to honor his legacy.

The Chadwick Boseman mural was designed and created by Walt Disney Imagineer, Nikkolas Smith who proudly stands in front of his work in the Instagram post below. The mural itself features Boseman proudly exchanging the Wakanda salute with a young child wearing a Black Panther mask. It is truly touching.
Smith had this to say about the Boseman mural, “This one is special. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney,” Smith wrote on Instagram along with several pictures of his work. “It is a full circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children’s Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T’Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman.”
