NBA Players Have Magical Reunions with Families Inside the Disney World Bubble
As the NBA playoffs get into full swing inside the NBA Bubble at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World, players are being reunited with their families. Like all players and staff entering the Bubble, family members are receiving COVID-19 tests and have had to go through a mandatory quarantine period.

After being separated from their families for months, NBA players are bound to experience a mental health boost after their families enter the Bubble. Several have commented that being away from their families has been the hardest struggle of the NBA restart at Walt Disney World.
Unfortunately, only the NBA players are being relined with their families inside the Walt Disney World NBA Bubble. Coaches, team staff, security, and the media along with other support personnel are not permitted to have their family members visit.

At this time, we are unsure what NBA families are going to be able to take part in once inside the Walt Disney World Bubble. Reports have indicated that players have had after hours to select attractions at the Parks but we are unsure at this time if family members will have this same option. We do know that the family members will not be able to visit the Parks during the day when they are open to the general public.
Most likely, the NBA families will be able to attend games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Some conference semi-final series are underway and the rest will start up over the next several days. The NBA Finals are scheduled to tip off towards the end of this month and will wrap up sometime between early to mid October.
The NBA families will be joining the players in one of two Walt Disney World Resort Hotels – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Once the Finals start it is likely all the players and their families will move to the Gran Destino Tower.
