EXCLUSIVE: Nighttime Show Lights Up Magic Kingdom
Having a theme park view at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a special treat. These days, guests get this gorgeous view during the day. Unfortunately, it typically doesn’t include a nighttime show.
In addition to an amazing view of Cinderella Castle, you also get a clear view of Space Mountain and other parts of Magic Kingdom
A Special Treat
It was a non-eventful evening Thursday when all of a sudden around 10:15 PM EST the sky lit up. The folks who shared the video below with MickeyBlog exclusively confirmed it was raining very lightly Thursday night.
Because of the rain, they thought the lights streaks in the sky were lightning. When they went out on their 11th floor balcony, they were treated to as special surprise.
A Nighttime Spectacular
You can clearly hear the raindrops hitting the balcony railing, but the people who filmed the video claimed they could also hear music faintly synchronized with the projection show.
Since Walt Disney World’s reopening on July 11, one of the things guests have missed the most has been the Happily Ever After fireworks show.
So What’s the Deal?
Since Thursday, we’ve wondered what this projection show could possibly be? Here are some thoughts.
Was Disney giving NBA players and/or their families a private nighttime show? Is Disney testing out a new nighttime spectacular for Halloween or Christmas?
Enjoy the Show!
We shared a snippet of the video on MickeyBlog’s Instagram account last Friday morning.
Now we’re excited to share the full video below with you! The video lasts about 12 minutes, so sit back and enjoy! Let us know what you think about the show in the comments!
