ABC to Air ‘Black Panther’ Commercial-Free Along with Tribute to Chadwick Boseman
As us here at MickeyBlog.com along with everyone else around the world continue to mourn the loss of super-talented actor, Chadwick Boseman, ABC has just announced that they will air “Black Panther” commercial-free this evening, Sunday, August 30, 8 pm EST. Following the film, ABC will also air a tribute to Chadwick Boseman entitled “ABC New Special: Chadwick Boseman – A Tribute to a King.”

The world was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Boseman on Friday night. Most were unaware that Boseman had been battling cancer since 2016 when he was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. The cancer later to stage four. Like the character he portrayed in “Black Panther,” Boseman was a fighter and was receiving cancer treatments while continuing to film several projects including “Da 5 Bloods.”

While Boseman is probably most known as playing the headlining role T’Challa in “Black Panther” and other Marvel movies, he also has countless other films on his resume including “42” and “21 Bridges.”
