BREAKING NEWS: Halloween Cavalcade and Spooky Decor Coming To Magic Kingdom In September
Are you ready to “Fall” in love with the Halloween Season at Magic King Park!? Disney is starting to reveal their plans for the spooky season and though there will be no Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that doesn’t mean there isn’t cause to celebrate. Earlier today we shared news with you that Magic Kingdom will be kicking off their Autumn festivities beginning on September 15 – October 31, 2020.
You’ll soak in the aura of autumn with Main Street, U.S.A. dressed in fall décor and other seasonal offerings.
Character Cavalcade
Disney has a bewitching surprise for fans! Just announced- there will be a special Halloween-themed character Cavalcade this spooky season. It will feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Pluto wearing their favorite Halloween costumes. Magic Kingdom also says there will be some surprises in store with unexpected characters which might even include the loveable Chip’n’ Dale in costume in Frontierland! We’re told other friends will greet the Halloween crowds riding in a horse-drawn trolley down Main Street U.S.A.
Stunning Decor
As you can see in these new photos, cast members are prepping pumpkin-themed wreaths that will adorn lampposts up and down Main Street, U.S.A., putting you in the fall spirit almost as soon as you step foot inside the park.

This fall, Disney World will be reintroducing some of our favorite Halloween-inspired eats and treats and includes the famous Pumpkin-spiced Waffle Sundae at Magic Kingdom. For more info check out our Foodie Guide!

- At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can travel to a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, enter the cartoon world of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, or play with their favorite toys in Toy Story Land.
- Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom can explore Pandora – The World of Avatar, venture to the “top of the world” aboard Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, or have a wild adventure on Kilimanjaro Safaris.
