New Physical Distancing Markers Have Been Laid at The Magic Kingdom Entrance
New physical distancing markers have been laid down at the front entrance of Magic Kingdom this afternoon. As soon as you come off the monorail or from the busses, they are laid as you approach to scan your band to enter the park.
When MickeyBlog arrived at the Magic Kingdom this morning at 9:00am, they were not there. But they quickly started working on them during the hot afternoon hours.
Could this be because Disney could be upping the capacity limit soon and will be expecting more guests? Is or just for enhanced safety measures? We aren’t sure.
Disney has taken many new safety measures to keep guests and Cast Members safe.
Physical distancing if a very important safety measure these days, and Disney takes it seriously.
Physical distancing measures may include:
- Signage and Ground Markings: Please follow directional signage and ground markings, which have been installed throughout Walt Disney World Resort to help Guests better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing.
- Physical Barriers: Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around cash registers or at Guest Relations, for example, to help promote proper distances between people.
- Training: We are also training Cast Members to engage with Guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in common areas and queues.
