Disney Makes Adjustments to “After 4” Passes For EPCOT Now That Park Hours Are Reduced
Here at MickeyBlog we made the announcement last Wednesday that Disney was making adjustments to theme park hours after lacklustre re-opening attendance. As a result the company needed to think about what they would be doing with the EPCOT After 4 passholders who will be hit hardest by the change to operation hours.
According to a piece this morning in the Orlando Sentinel, it looks like they have come up with a solution. Passholders in the “After 4” category will be able to gain entry to the theme parks starting at 2pm when the hour changes go into effect in September. This has been officially confirmed by the company.
It should be noted however that the 2pm entry will not be a permanent change for passholders but rather it is ONLY for days starting September 8 when EPCOT closes at 7 pm. This is two hours earlier than EPCOT’s current closing time of 9 pm.
For those unfamiliar, the EPCOT After 4 pass is an option that was created for locals who want to visit the theme park’s festivals and have dinner.
This is a story that we’ll continue to follow closely here at MickeyBlog. Readers are encouraged to keep following with MickeyBlog for the latest Passholder news and updates!
