Disneyland Paris Reopening Updates
It’s not only an exciting time for Disney theme parks on this side of the pond, over in Disneyland Paris the gradual re-opening of the theme parks and resorts are taking place! In a timeline similar tho the one at Walt Disney World, DLP’s two theme parks officially opened to the public on July 15th.
As a matter of fact you can see their official reopening video below:
Health & Safety Precautions:
During the time of reopening Disneyland Paris has put a bunch of new health & safety measures in place (similar to Walt Disney World.) These include:
- Limited attendance at theme parks, and guests must buy tickets in advance and register on a new reservation platform.
- Reduced capacity at restaurants, attractions, queues and other locations.
- Buffet restaurants are now all-you-can-eat table service.
- Face coverings required for all cast members and guests aged 11 and older.
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, especially frequently-touched surfaces and high-traffic areas.
- Visitors can book a table via the Disneyland Paris App, and contactless payment is encouraged.
Here is an infographic Disneyland Paris created to announce the new precautions:
Park Reservation System
Guests visiting both Disneyland Paris theme parks are required to make a theme park reservation IN ADDITION to having theme park tickets. This is done through a new reservation platform.
Until November 30, 2020, visitors to Disneyland Paris are required to register using the NEW online reservation platform in order to ensure that you can visit the theme park of your choice on the date that you would like. Reservations are subject to availability and once sold out, you will NOT be able to enter the parks even if you have a ticket.
As of going to print, availability is look good at both parks through the Autumn. However, there are a couple of dates in November to be aware of (see above.) For more information regarding the park reservation system you can visit the Disneyland Paris website here.

Disneyland Paris is staggering their hotel reopenings. Here’s a look at how this is panning out:

- Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne – Opened on July 20th
- Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe – Opened August 3rd
- Disneyland Hotel – Will open on September 7th
- Sequoia Lodge Hotel – Will Remain Closed Indefinitely
- Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch- Will Remain Closed Indefinitely
Online DIning Reservation System
According to a piece appearing on Town Square, Disneyland Paris has just released their NEW restaurant reservation system via the DisneylandParis app. Similar to the way the My Disney Experience App works stateside, guests can now search for availability and “Book a Table.” Once you have made your reservation you will receive a notification email that your booking has gone through. Unlike Walt Disney World and Disneyland, the reservation system does not require a credit card guarantee.
