Using Mobile Ordering Is More Important Than Ever During Your Disney Visit
Over the past month, we have admittedly been bombarding our readers with things you can do to keep yourself safe while at the theme parks. From hand sanitizer stations to social distancing in the queues, it’s a different way of visiting Disney but so important during COVID-19. That brings us to our topic for today and something quick and easy you can do to social distance at Disney’s restaurants!
Disney’s Mobile Ordering system is an absolute game changer when it comes to quick service dining at the theme parks. You’ll find Mobile Ordering on your My Disney Experience app and via the system you can make and pay for your meals or snacks using your mobile phone, let the restaurant know when you’re on your way and simply stop by the Pick-Up window (like the one in the photo above) to grab your goodies.
Not only does this make grabbing your favorite Disney goodies easier than ever but also keeps you at a safe distance from other patrons. To show you how this system works Disney took to Facebook with this quick Mobile ordering tutorial:
Make mobile ordering a part of your vacation plans during your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Especially when you’re in need of a refreshing DOLE Whip! 🍍🍦 https://bit.ly/3kmgCQS #DisneyMagicMoments

Paying for food using mobile ordering is easy. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card or Apple Pay. Disney is not currently offering Dining Plans at the moment but the service in the past has also taken dining credits. As you can see from the video above, in order to take advantage of mobile ordering all you need is a smartphone and the My Disney Experience app.
The app can be downloaded here- My Disney Experience.
Over 20 dining locations at Walt Disney World currently offer mobile ordering including Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom where you can order up a Dole Whip and have it waiting for you. Can you order up food without using Mobile Ordering? Sure! But why would you want to when you can avoid the lines and the wait!?
This is just one of the ways you can keep yourself safe while at Walt Disney World. For other tips and tricks keep following along with MickeyBlog.
