it’s a Small World Music is Gone!
It’s a Small World is running at Walt Disney World, but without the music. Twitter user @bethawho posting a short video of the attraction sans the iconic song.
Walt Disney World has experienced a bunch of attraction mishaps in the past couple of weeks as @carlywisel points out.
Spaceship Earth World of Warcraft
Splash Mountain flume sinking
Living with the Land going backwards
Gran Fiesta Tour AA
….am I missing any— 🍭 carlye wisel (@carlyewisel) August 9, 2020
Left off the list are the audioanimatronic of John malfunctioning at Carousel of Progress and the Jungle Cruise boat “sinking” shortly after Bob Chapek took over as CEO.
MickeyBlog previously reported, “As a Disney fan, you know that it’s a small world after all. What you may not realize is that the Sherman Brothers had different plans for the song. Their original take involved national anthems. Lots of them. Uncle Walt informed his favorite musical writing team that the attraction would take guests through dozens of countries, each of which would have a distinct set piece.”
It’s a Small World is recognized by Time Magazine as the most played song of all time.

It’s a Small World is certainly not the same without the music accompanying the ride.
