Tropical Storm Isaias Officially Forms in the Atlantic and Continues to Threaten the East Coast
Cyclone 9 has officially become Tropical Storm Isaias out in the Atlantic as it continues to make its way towards the east coast. There was a slight shift east overnight, but that still leaves Florida in the cone.
The winds are maxing out at 70mph as of right now, but there is still uncertainty on the final track, and “it’s giving a lot of mixed signals”, according to the Weather Channel.
As far as rainfall, it’s hard to predict at this point. Florida could get a lot of rain, or none at all. We will be keeping an eye on this one for the park goers.
The National Hurricane Center is keeping winds at 70mph down the road but notes Hurricane Watches could be issued later for South Florida. It all depends on how it recovers from its visit with Hispaniola today.
Stay tuned with MickeyBlog for the latest on the storm and stay up to date with Disney’s hurricane policy.
