One Of Our Favorite Downtown Disney Restaurants- Tortilla Jo’s Is Now OPEN
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you know that while Disneyland theme parks remain closed. However, the Downtown Disney dining and shopping district is slowly springing back to life!
To keep guests safe, new protocols have been put into place that includes temperature checks, increased sanitation and the mandatory wearing of facemasks except when dining. Governor Gavin Newsom has also mandated the restaurant dining be limited to outdoor dining. With that in mind, some of Downtown Disney’s most popular restaurants have been a bit slow to open as they work to ensure that the necessary safety protocols are met. However, we’ve got some exciting news about one of our favorite places to dine!

On Wednesday, the eatery also updated their business hours. Here’s a quick look at the posted hours:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday:11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
If you’ve never been to Tortilla Jo’s definitely make it a must-do during your next Disneyland getaway. This is one of my favorite places to eat in all of Disney and you’ll find a wide range of delicious Mexican cuisine. Highlights include having fresh guacamole made tableside just like you like it, the restaurant’s famous loaded nachos with Monterey jack cheese, Pico de Gallo, guacamole and sour cream!

Main courses include delicious options like tacos, burritos, tamales and fajitas. Adventurous diners will definitely want to try the Especiales de la Casa, made with marinated hanger steak ranchera, citrus-braised pork carnitas and more. Many dishes also feature Jo’s fresh tortillas, handmade daily from scratch.
Tequila lovers are also spoiled for choice at Tortilla Jo’s. You’ll find more than 100 selections of tequila and countless cocktail options from tasting shots to an eclectic array of margaritas.
