The Leak at Contempo Cafe
As guests made their way to Contempo Cafe Wednesday night, they encountered a lot of signage, buckets, and floor coverings. Drops of rain could be seen falling from the roof down to the 4th floor.
Contempo Cafe is a quick service restaurant located on the fourth floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Cast Members have strategically placed buckets to catch the water as it drops from the ceiling. Then they surrounded the buckets with floor coverings to absorb the water.
Our MickeyBloggers onsite were able to catch an overhead view from the 10th floor. Cast Members currently have the area roped off to keep guests away.

Business as Usual
Guests were still able to mobile order and dine inside Contempo Cafe. With Magic Kingdom closing at 7:00pm each night, guests staying at the Contempory seem to make their way over to Contempo Cafe for a quick meal.
One Thing Disney is Good at is Signage
If you were in the area of the leak, you couldn’t miss all the signage. Disney had cast members in the area as well to warn guests who were staring at their phones as they made there way over.
Please Pardon Our Appearance
Contempo Cafe offers several options for guests to eat including hamburgers, pizza, kid’s meals and desserts.
Knowing Disney, they’ll have this mess cleaned up quickly and have folks on the roof in the morning to fix the leak. Stay dry, folks!
