Children Break Glass Castle Designed After Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disney Valued at Over $63,000
While my children have broke many things I am thankful that this wasn’t one of them! Two children in China accidentally knocked over a glass castle designed after Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disneyland that is valued at around $63,4000!
Per the Irish Sun, the children were visiting the Shanghai Museum of Glass in China when they escaped away from their parents, started chasing one another, and climbed over the fence of the area where Enchanted Storybook Castle recreation was held. Once inside that area, they accidentally bumped into the glass display case which caused the tower to crash to the floor.

The glass Enchanted Storybook Castle was created by the famous Arribas Brothers – Tomas and Alfonso. (You are probably familiar with them from their shops at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.) It took more than 500 hours to bring the castle to life. In addition, a whooping 30,000 parts were used and it is covered with 24 karat gold. The replica castle was offered as a gift from the Arribas Brothers to the Shanghai Museum of Glass to celebrate its firth anniversary back in 2016.
The horrified and embarrassed parents of the two children apologized and offered to pay to repair the display. The Arribas Brother are aware of the situation but are unable to travel this time in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have ever visited one of the Arribas Shops, you have most likely seen similar glass pieces of artwork. You know those ones where you walk in and say, “Maybe if I win the lottery, I can buy one.” Yeah, it’s one of those!
What would you do if your children broke a glass replica of the Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disneyland valued at over $63,000 other than cry?! Let us know in the comments below!
