Tomorrowland Peoplemover Still Isn’t Moving People
Paging Mr. Morrow. Mister Tom Morrow….
Since the Magic Kingdom first opened its gates last week, one attraction has remained conspicuously absent – the Tomorrowland PeopleMover. Today, as we were strolling through Tomorrowland once again hoping to climb aboard and enjoy the scenic view of this area of the park we noticed that its still down.
As you can see, there were quite a few cast members on hand to block the entrance to the attraction.
There is signage in the area to let guests know that the attraction is closed.
Markers were in place and hand sanitation stations are also near the entrance for when the attraction DOES reopen.
Our MickeyBlogger did ask if the Peoplemover would have the same fate as Stitch’s Great Escape which as we reported last week will not be reopening (along with Rivers of Light and Primeval Whirl). However, the cast members reassured us that it was down for maintenance reasons.
Unfortunately, they were not able to give us an indication of when they expect things to be up and running!
However, this is a story that we will continue to follow closely here at MickeyBlog and we promise to keep you posted once this beloved Magic Kingdom attraction is once again open to guests!
