Parent Trap Cast Members Are Having a Zoom Reunion For Charity Including Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid
Fans of Lindsay Lohan hold onto your sock! Here at MickeyBlog, we’ve just found out that Katie Couric has been working hard behind the scenes to reunite the cast of Disney’s Parent Trap who are meeting up tomorrow on her Instagram account to raise money for charity.
Katie Couric took to Instagram tomorrow to share all of the details of the Parent Trap reunion which you can check out below:
As Katie Couric mentioned in the comments above the cast of Parent Trap will be reuniting for the first time since 1988. The full episode will premiere exclusively on Instagram Tomorrow at 9am ET.
The film was released back in 1998 when it became an instant hit that’s why this reunion is so exciting. It is the FIRST time since Disney released the movie that they cast and crew have reunited. This includes Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Quaid and even director Nancy Myers.

Best of all, the reunion will help raise much needed funds for the charity of Disney Springs Chef Jose Andres- World Central Kitchen.
The Parent Trap is based on a 1961 Disney movie starring Hayley Mills as identical twins, Sharon McKendrick and Susan Evers who met at Summer Camp and had no idea they are related. They join forces to hook up their parents. In the 1988 version, Lindsay Lohan takes on the role of twin sisters Annie James and Hallie Parker with a movie with a similar plot. The twins were separated at birth and each child raised by one of their biological parents. When the girls bump into each other while at Summer Camp they come up with a plan to bring their family back together.
The list of guests reuniting includes Lindsay Lohan (Annie and Hallie), Dennis Quaid (Nick), Elaine Hendrix (Meredith), Lisa Ann Walter (Chessy) and Simon Kunz (Martin). Join them as they discuss their favorite moments from the set, the impact the movie still has two decades later and some of the actors will even get to recite some of Katie Couric’s favorite lines.
There will also be a special tribute to Natasha Richardson who played Annie and Hallie’s mother Liz. The actress passed away in 20019 after a skiing accident.
