Avengers Contact Young Boy Who Saved Sister from Dog Attack
A boy saved his younger sister from what could have been a deadly dog attack.
Six-year-old Bridger Walker of Cheyenne, Wyoming, is recovering from a vicious dog attack that could have killed his little sister. Bridger stood between the dog and his sister on July 9th and took the brunt of the attack. He ended up needing 90 stitches to his face.
Bridger is a huge superhero fan, so his aunt tagged Marvel stars, including Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo in her Instagram post about the attack. “We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks,” his aunt said.

My nephew is a hero who saved his little sister from an attacking dog. He, himself, took on the attack so that the dog wouldn’t get his sister. He later said, “If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.” He got home from the hospital last night. I know it’s a long shot, but I’m reaching out to the Avengers and other heroes so that they can learn about this latest addition to their ranks. Please, check your DM’s for my sweet nephew’s story. @tomholland2013 @chrishemsworth @robertdowneyjr @markruffalo @prattprattpratt @twhiddleston @chadwickboseman @vindiesel @chrisevans @vancityreynolds @thehughjackman Edit: I never expected my sweet nephew’s story to reach so many. Please, follow my other post (I only have two so far 😅) for the latest info regarding my sweet nephew and his family.
“If someone had to die, I thought it should be me,” said Bridger, who is 19 months older than his sister.
Bridger explained why he stepped in front of his sister and later told her to run. “I stepped to the side in front of my sister so that the dog wouldn’t get her,” he said. “I kept moving, so it couldn’t get past.”
Some Avengers heard about Bridger’s heroic actions and sent him messages on social media.
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the Marvel movies, said he will send Bridger “an authentic Captain America shield.”
Tony Stark knows a hero when he sees one.
Robert Downey Jr. sent a message to Bridger, making him a big promise after the boy rescued his little sister — and it’s good to see Captain America and Iron Man still going at it.

Robert Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man, said he promises something special on his next birthday.
Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor commented “You’re an absolute inspiration. Your courage is beyond belief and we are all so impressed by you”. He added that he and the other Avengers “would be honored” to have him on their team.
Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, commented that Bridger is “more of a man than many, many I have seen or known.” “People who put the well beings of others in front of themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I know,” Ruffalo said. “I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart.”
Bridger also received a message from Brie Larson, star of “Captain Marvel.” She commented that she would be sending a direct message to Bridger’s aunt.
The aunt said Bridger’s facial wounds “are looking so much better” and he is in great spirits.
