Roller Coasters, Fishing, Golf, and More – See What NBA Players are Doing In the NBA Bubble at Walt Disney World
As you can imagine, NBA Players living inside the Bubble at Walt Disney World have a ton of extra free time on their hands. To fill in that time between practices, eating, and sleeping, players and team staff will have have “after hour” access to select attraction at the Parks, fishing excursions, golf, and more!

Parks Access
Per USA Today, NBA teams in the Bubble are able to book select experiences after the Parks close to the public for the day for attractions such as Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Test Track in EPCOT.
In a memo that was attained by USA Today, “Players will have the first opportunity to select experiences on a first come first serve basis and are recommended to book experiences at least 48 hours in advance. Open slots for experiences will be released 24 hours prior to the beginning of the event, during which period other members of the team travel party may book available inventory.”

Golf Excursions
NBA teams will also be able to play around of golf at one of three Walt Disney World Golf Courses including Disney’s Palm Golf Course, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, and Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course.

Fishing and Boating Excursions
NBA players and team staff will be able to hop on a boat at the Grand Marina at Disney’s grand Floridian Resort & Spa for a two hour fishing outing. All participants will be given the essential fishing equipment as they fish for bass including a rod, reel, and bait. A guide is also provided.
If players want to go out on their own, pontoon boats are also available to rent in the NBA Bubble at Walt Disney World.

Bowling
NBA players and team staff can make a private reservation at Splitsville in Disney Springs to enjoy some bowling during their time in the NBA Bubble.
In addition, to these outings, team lounges have been set up at the three NBA Bubble Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. The lounges include pool tables, ping pong, and video games. In addition, each Resort Hotel offers pools, tennis courts, and bikes.
