Chef Mickey’s & California Grill Open Reservations for Select Meals
We are excited to announce that Chef Mickey’s and California Grill – both located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World – are once again accepting reservations. Both restaurants are scheduled to reopen open tomorrow.

Chef Mickey’s
When Chef Mickey’s opens tomorrow, Friday, July 10, it will be a tad bit different. First off, only breakfast will be available during the initial phase of reopening. In addition, the buffet style meal we have all grown to know and love will change over to family style. Finally, and probably the worst change for me, Mickey and Pals will not be on hand to meet and greet Guests.
However, if you are looking for a character dining experience, there are still some options! Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip, and Dale are still on hand for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Garden Grill in EPCOT. Mickey also makes his way over to Topolino’s in Disney’s Riviera Resort for breakfast and bring Minnie, Daisy, and Donald with him.

While nothing is confirmed, we are very hopeful that lunch and dinner as well as characters will return to Chef Mickey’s in the near future.
California Grill
When California Grill reopens tomorrow, Guests will be able to dine in the rooftop location at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for a signature dinner experience. While Guests will not be able to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks since they have been temporarily suspended, the restaurant still offers some one-of-a-kind views of the Theme Park.
