Your Guide To What’s Opening Up at Downtown Disney This Week
Tomorrow is the day West Coast Disney friends! Though Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and Disneyland’s three onsite hotels remain closed until further notice, Downtown Disney is officially opening up to visitors starting tomorrow July 9, 2020.
In accordance with the states COVID-19 guidelines, new health and safety measures are being put into place. This includes the mandatory use of face masks at the parks, temperature checks, reduced capacity and outdoor only dining.
The Orange County Register has compiled a list of businesses slated to reopen tomorrow and we here at MickeyBlog are excited to pass this information on to you!

In addition to the information above, we do know that some Disney retailers including World of Disney and Marceline’s Confectionery will use a mobile waitlist for those looking to visit. The system will free guests up to visit other locations until their reservation window when they will receive a phone message to return to the shop.
When it comes to kiosks, California Churro and Disney Pin Traders will be returning. However, there are a handful of kiosks that have yet to announce an opening date, this is something that we’ll be following closely and promise to keep you updated.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes will be a bit slower to open, similar to what we’ve seen at their DIsney Springs location. This is due to the state reclosing bowling alleys.
And then there’s the VOID. We aren’t sure yet what happened between Disney and the company. However, what we do know is that they won’t be back. Disney posted termination of license agreement notices on their Downtown Disney location indicating an end to their collaboration. As a result, Disney has also terminated the lease at their Anaheim location.
