Disney Cruise Line the ‘World’s Best’ According to Travel + Leisure Readers
Congratulations to Disney Cruise Line! Travel + Leisure has announced the results of their World’s Best Awards 2020 readers’ survey, revealing the top travel destinations and companies in the U.S. and around the globe. It should come to no surprise to our readers that under the 2020 World’s best Mega-Ship (capacity of 2,200 passengers or more) Ocean Cruise Line category, Disney Cruise Line is ranked #1 as the World’s Best. Disney repeats as winner thanks to nearly flawless service, plus a range of ships and itineraries that appeal to all ages.
This year marks the 25th edition of this annual readers’ survey, in which Travel + Leisure readers rate their experiences in a variety of categories. The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards is a leading barometer of the places and companies that satisfy some of the most passionate and discerning travelers.
Disney Cruise Line 2020 World’s Best Award
The survey, developed by the editors of Travel + Leisure and the research firm M&RR, asked for respondents to cruise ships based on a number of characteristics. For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The categories and characteristics for cruise ships included the following: Cabins/facilities, food, service, itineraries/destinations, excursions/activities, and value.
