New “Jungle Cruise” Skipper Funko Pop Coming to ShopDisney
The Skipper Funko Pop will float into the world of ShopDisney on July 11th, the same day the Magic Kingdom will re-open after a four month closure. The Jungle Cruise Skipper will be steering the iconic Congo Queen

The original Jungle Cruise is located in Adventureland in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The boat ride is hosted by a live Cast Member who “guides” the riders down a river that amazingly manages to span Asia, South American and Africa all in about 20 minutes.
The famous Skippers take you through a humorous and pun-filled tour. Their narration is based on a script and many of their jokes are as classic as the park itself (It’s the Back-side of Water!). But, the talent of the skippers themselves is revealed in the ad-lib that accompanies this script.
The Disney movie “The Jungle Cruise” is now set to debut on July 24th, 2020. This is after several delays due to the COVID-19 shutdown of theaters. The movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is loosely based on the ride.
