BREAKING NEWS: A Look At One Of The Relaxation Station at Magic Kingdom
While all guests visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks are REQUIRED to wear facemasks for the foreseeable future, there are designated areas in the parks where you can have a mask-free moment or two. These are known as Relaxation Stations.
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog today, you know that we are on the scene at the Magic Kingdom for Cast Member previews and we managed to take a look at one of these repurposed areas.
The area we visited was Tomorrowland Terrace which is the location previously used for the Magic Kingdom dessert parties which have been temporarily suspended. As you can see, the relaxation areas are marked with signs.
There is also a hand sanitizer station located right near the entrance.
These areas are designed to give guests a place to cool off and relax with their travelling party and take a break from the mask-wearing before heading back out to the theme parks.
When we walked through, the area was practically empty except for a few guests at tables. We expect them to get much busier especially when the parks officially open at the weekend.
In addition to the station at Tomorrowland Terrace, you’ll also find one at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Fantasyland and Golden Oak Outpost which you stroll past on your walk from Frontierland to Adventureland.
This is just one of the many new changes you’ll find at the theme parks when they reopen! Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog where we’ll be coming to you live all week from the theme park previews!
