What a great way to start the day visiting with our incredible Transportation Cast & Transportation Engineering Services team as they make final preparations to resume transporting guests safely to our theme parks this week. I’ve known some of these folks for years and they couldn’t be more ready to put the magic back in motion! #MagicinMotion #WeMovetheMagic #MagicKingdom #DisneyCastLife
The monorail will be up and running as MickeyBlog previously reported. It was seen being tested around the resort areas. Transportation cast members are seen in the Instagram pictures outside of the monorail entrance, with masks and face shields, getting ready to welcome guests.
The Buses will include limited capacity, social distancing, no standing and masks will be required. But, they will continue to have the same cheerful bus drivers, even with their own masks, taking guests around Walt Disney World.
Vahle’s pictures also include the ferry boats. Service will resume on July 7th and will definitely happen between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. It is possible ferry boat service will also be available to and from the Ticketing and Transportation Center as well.
There are no pictures of the Skyliner, but the gondolas will resume as well on July 15th. This the same day EPCOT and Hollywood Studios will re-open.
Jeff Vahle’s Instagram post is just the encouragement Disney fans have been looking for. Happy Cast Members preparing to welcome guests home. #magicinmotion #wemovethemagic
