TUI Travel Agency Cancels Holiday Trips to US
European Travel agency, TUI, has canceled all Ireland and UK travel to Florida until November 30th due to the recent spike in Coronavirus cases in the U.S.
TUI stated “The decision has been made following new health and safety measures implemented at Walt Disney World to ensure the safety of its guests. ‘These changes would significantly impact the holiday experience for many Tui customers who plan their magical and often once in a lifetime Florida holiday.”
TUI added “TUI added: “As part of TUI’s new Holiday Promise, the UK’s biggest tour operator commits to only operating holidays where it’s able to guarantee an enjoyable, relaxing and safe holiday without significant changes at their destination.”
“There is no way restrictions will be lifted there any time soon as they are at the epicentre of the pandemic at the moment.”
“America does not meet the Chris Whitty criteria of being a safe country, but something like three million Brits visit the USA every year and they won’t be doing that” States TUI.
Flights and holiday packages to Spain and Greece will resume in July 11th.
