New Avengers Game ‘War Table’ Is Trending on Twitter. Find Out Why Here
The internet was abuzz this afternoon with excitement over Square Enix’s new Marvel’s Avengers game. There was a live stream of the project called War Table this afternoon.
The video focused on ‘story insights as well as a look at the co-op and extended gameplay for Marvel’s Avengers. Developers were also on hand to discuss the game’s Hero Missions where guests have the ability to play solo as a single superhero. The game will also offer something called War Zone Missions where you can play with up to four different heroes.

As you can see from the clip above, this ambitious game took years in the making. It features Avengers such as Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel and Thor. Square Enix also said that there are more playable heroes to come.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released Sept. 4 for Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Square Enix also confirmed earlier this week the superhero game will be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and that those who purchase a PS4 or Xbox One version of the game will get a next-gen upgrade for free.
