Let’s Check In With the Cast Members at Hong Kong Disneyland To See How Opening Day Went
Today was one for the history books Disney friends! Hong Kong Disneyland officially opened its gates to the general public. A Disney is celebrating with a special #DisneyCast Life video from inside the parks where you can see first hand how they are making magic for guests.
It’s wonderful to see Cast Members coming together to bring Disney magic back to the park. Let’s take a look:
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, more than 100 local families were invited to be the first guests inside Hong Kong Disneyland. The company in a statement this morning reiterated their commitment to continue working with different non-profit organizations to invite families to visit the park.
Similar to what we’ve already see at Shanghai Disneyland and are expecting when Walt Disney World reopens the theme parks next month, a variety of health and safety protocols have been put in place.

In addition to cutting back on the number of guests allowed into the park, Hong Kong Disneyland has also implemented social distancing requirements throughout. This includes in lines, on attractions and even in restaurants. As People tells us, sanitation and disinfection have been increased in high-contact areas, character experiences have been temporarily suspended, masks are required as are temperature checks fore entering the parks.
