Disney World, Disneyland, and Aualni Guests Will No Longer Be Able to Add Airfare to Packages in 2021
If you plan on visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii in 2021, listen up! The Walt Disney Travel Company has just announced that those wishing to purchase airfare as part of their package will no be able to do so.

Here is the official announcement from The Walt Disney Travel Company regarding the removal of airfare from packages:
For arrivals beginning in 2021, Walt Disney Travel Company will no longer offer air transportation as part of its packages for Guests traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa.
This includes both consumer-direct and third-party bookings.
We will continue to make new airline bookings for travel through the end of 2020, and our teams will continue to service existing airline bookings at this time.

In the past, Guests traveling to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii could bundle airfare to and from their destinations as part as their packages. Many liked this feature to make their package more “all inclusive.” In recent years, Guests even had the option to upgrade to first class seats.
At this time, it does appear that airfare will still be offered for those booking a relaxing Disney Cruise Line vacation or an exciting Adventures by Disney vacation package.
