Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Will Be Closed During Initial Reopening
If you have plans to stay at Disney’s Beach Club or Disney’s Yacht Club Resort during the initial Walt Disney World reopening phase, I have some sad news to pass along. The Resort’s iconic pool area, Stormalong Bay, will no be open during this time.

Per the official Walt Disney World reopening website, Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will not be available during the initial reopening period; Guests of this Disney Resort hotel may enjoy the leisure pool at Disney’s Beach Club Villas or the Luna Park Pool and leisure pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas.
So, even though Guests at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will not be able to take a dip in Stormalong Bay, they are invited to use the swimming facilities at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn which is just a short walk or boat ride away. The amusement park-themed pool there does not disappoint!

There is no official timeline on when things will begin opening back up and guidelines and restrictions will begin to be rolled back. However, one thing is for sure, the closure of Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Clubs is only temporarily.
