Sports Center Takes to Twitter With An Official NBA Disney Announcement
As we previously reported here on MickeyBlog, the NBA has finally announced that they will be bringing their postponed 2019-2020 season to Walt Disney World.
Though Disney has yet to make an official announcement regarding the news, Sports Center took to Twitter to break the news with a bit of Disney panache. Let’s take a look:

We absolutely love this Disney NBA Mash-up!
The NBA announcement, which was made after the owners approved of the move by 29 to 1, is some much-needed pixie dust for Walt Disney World which has struggled as a result of the COVID-19 shutdown. The vote now needs to be put to the players for final approval though insiders have said it is expected to pass.
As part of the deal between Disney and the NBA, 22 teams will bring their season to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex located on the grounds of Walt Disney World Resort. As fans will remember, the NBA season came to a screeching halt back in March.
ESPN also posted the following:

According to a report on MarketWatch, The Western Conference will have 13 teams going into Disney and the Eastern Conference nine. The top 22 teams will be included with six teams making the playoffs: Memphis, Portland, New Orleans, Sacramento, San Antonio, Phoenix and Washington according to ESPN.
Here’s a look at the proposed dates:
