Teacher Creates a Disney Garden
While many have been home and out of work for the COVID-19 lockdown, Bryoni Bowers used the time to bring some magic home to her garden. In fact, the primary school teacher transformed her space into a Disney Garden.

Using a bucket of white paint and her family’s favorite Disney characters, Bowers created a beautiful mural on her garden walls. Some of the characters included:
- Chip from Beauty and the Beast
- Minnie Mouse
- Mickey Mouse
- Turk from Tarzan
- Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story
- Flounder from The Little Mermaid
- Marie from The Aristocats
- Genie from Aladdin
- Rafiki from The Lion King
- Figaro from Pinocchio
- Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.
- Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland
- Daisy Duck
- Stitch from Lilo and Stitch
- Lightning McQueen from Cars
- Dumbo from Dumbo
- Pua from Moana
- Lady from Lady and the Tramp
- Thumper from Bambi
- Tinkerbelle from Peter Pan
- Mushu from Mulan
- Pascal from Tangled
- Meeko from Pocahontas
- Pegasus from Fantasia

Briony began this project for her nieces and nephews that she spends a lot of time with. They were supposed to be going on holiday together but the lockdown forced them to cancel plans.
The project reportedly took Briony about 8 weeks to complete with each character requiring about 3-4 hours worth of work.

In addition to the beautiful mural Bryoni created in her Disney garden, her father helped build a Pirate-themed house with chalk paint covered walls for children to color on and a telescope. Who wouldn’t love their own little Fantasyland right in their backyard?
