Breaking News: World of Disney Reopens at Disney Springs: 6 Hour Lines, Crowds at Capacity
As you know, Disney Springs officially reopening to guests last week. Though many independent businesses chose to take advantage of the reopening, all Disney owned and operated business were lagging slightly behind and officially opened this morning May 27, 2020.
The opening of World of Disney was met with much fanfare this morning. So much so that those on the scene are reporting over 6-hour lines. Just check out this tweet from AJ Wolf at the always awesome DisneyFoodBlog showing off the long line to get in.

This Instagram video from Salon Christophe provides some really informative coverage of the security checkpoints in place as well as the weather which avid Disney-goers refuse to let put a damper on their visit.
Deanna Allbritten from WDTV advises that face masks are non-negotiable at Disney Springs and that in the future there may be certain areas of Disney Springs where guests can remove the masks to take a break. Check it out:
They say they're looking at "mask off" zones at Disney Springs to potentially give people a break from wearing them, but that's not set yet. They've made it plenty clear that mask-wearing by guests continues to be a non-negotiable for reopening.
