Starbucks Presents a “Welcome Back” Drink Special for the Disney Springs Reopening
Great news for Disney fans! Disney Springs reopened this morning for the first time in almost 2 months! People showed up to show their support, fully equipped with their masks and all.
Not every store or food establishment was open today, but Starbucks was and you can bet that there was already a line at 10am.
In honor of the reopening, Starbucks released a “Welcome Back” drink. It’s a blended mango dragonfruit refresher with coconut milk, strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple ginger syrup. And don’t forget to top it with golden ginger whipped cream.

With the reopening of Disney Springs, it gave Disney an opportunity to try out new safety measures as a trial run of sorts.
- Temperature screenings
- Physical distancing
- Required face coverings (for anyone 3 and older)
- Limited points of entry
- Limited parking
- Reduced hours
- Hand sanitation stations
- No scheduled entertainment
- Cash-free payments when possible.

A statement on the page says, “We understand that these times are challenging, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate as responsibly as we can. Together, we can find new ways to have fun while being diligent to maintain proper physical distancing.”
