To kick the night off, Kermit the Frog and Seth Rogen gave us a heartwarming intro set to the The Muppets Theme song but with a new spin. Many of the faces that appear later in the show plus many of The Muppets also help out with the intro.
Later Multi Platinum artist Halsey performs ‘Part Of Your World’ from Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’. Fun fact, she is a massive Little Mermaid fan!
Keke Palmer gave an amazing performance while “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Witney Carson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Sasha Farber and Emma Slater teamed up for an outstanding remote ensemble routine to “Zero to Hero”
We got another great mash up with Chloe x Halle and Anika Noni Rose belting out ‘Almost There’ from Disney’s ‘The Princess and the Frog’
Disney on Broadway stars Merle Dandridge, Heather Headley, Adam Jacobs, Caissie Levy, Kara Lindsay, Kevin Massey and Josh Strickland came together to perform a mesmerizing “You’ll Be in My Heart.”
Idina Menzel and Ben Platt teamed up to perform ‘A Whole New World’ from Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ ….magical!
Shakira sings ‘Try Everything’ the theme song from Disney’s ‘Zootopia’. I dare you not to move to the music on this one.
Ok complete honesty …. I got a little teary eyed during ‘American Idol’s’ Katy Perry performing ‘Baby Mine’ from Disney’s ‘Dumbo’. This says something about her vocal ability as she is decked out in a Mrs. Jumbo costume!
Definitely one of my favorite performances during “The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II” was by Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert performing ‘Step In Time’ from Disney’s ‘Mary Poppins’ . It then transitions over to Julianne Hough performing ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.’ Amazing!
