ICYMI: Halsey Sang an Incredible Rendition of “Part of Your World” at the Disney Family Singalong
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you know that last night marked the return of ABC’s Disney Family Singalong. Back by popular demand, this Mother’s Day special featured a new line-up of celebrity Disney fans belting their hearts out to some of our favorite Disney tunes.
There were a lot of bring-the-house-down moments but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Halsey’s stunning rendition of “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid. With her flowing red locks, she was the complete embodiment of Ariel and took us through a near-perfect version of the song making it look easy!
Many fans also took to social media to point out that Halsey’s tip of the hat to the original animated films was about more than just the wig. Halsey, in stunning Disney-bounding fashion, replicated Ariel’s look from the end of the film. As you can see from the video above and as ComicBook.com points out, Halsey did her own riff on the white wedding dress on the beach.
If you look closely you may even notice that her earrings were similar to to the ones worn by Ariel at the end of the film.
