Don’t Forget It’s Disney Night On American Idol Tonight
Don’t forget to tune in for an awesome Disney-inspired night of television. The evening kicks off at 7pm with the return of the Disney Family Singalong. Then at 8pm fans will be treated to another dose of Disney magic as American Idol celebrates Mother’s Day with a special Disney themed show!

As you can, American Idol will be getting even closer to crowning the 2020 winner with an episode that will reveal who America voted into the Top 7. This hybrid Disney/Mother’s Day show will start with the remaining finalists performing two songs each. The first song will have to come directly from the Disney songbook and the second will be one dedicated to the mother figures in their lives.
As a very special treat, Laine Hardy will be returning to perform “Life is a Highway” and share his journey after winning the show last year! As of going to print the show has been whittled down to 11 finalists from which a top 7 will be chosen tonight!

Helping to determine who the next singing sensation will be are all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchie. Both the Disney Singalong and American Idol will be hosted by none other than Ryan Seacrest. Bob Bones will also continue his role as an in-house mentor as the contestants continue to be faced with the unique challenge of performing from home!
