Disneyland President Rebecca Campbell Pays Tribute To Disney’s Healthcare Workers on Instagram
Disneyland Resort President Rebecca Campbell has been an active force on social media recently providing “homesick” guests with a look at the theme parks. Yesterday she returned to Disneyland to pay tribute to the theme park’s incredible healthcare staff!
As you can see from the post above, she posed at the park with the nurses, doctors and medical staff at Disneyland Resort to pay tribute to their service These unsung heroes of Disney do a fantastic job of keeping guests safe while at the parks. Whether it’s administering first aid, helping with baby care or lending a helping hand if you’re at the resorts and unwell, Disneyland Resort wouldn’t be same without them!
We suspect that their role will become even more integral as the theme parks implement new strategies to keep guests safe upon re-opening!
This week, we here MickeyBlog shared the news that Disneyland Resort has suspended new reservations until July 1st and we are still awaiting news of what plans the theme parks are making to re-open. In the meantime, Campbell has been fantastic at providing us with some insights into how things are going at Disneyland Resort during the closure.
Just last week she celebrated May the 4th at Galaxy’s Edge with all of the essential employees. The parks still have a small member of cast members on duty to keep the planet of Batuu and all of the other areas of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park safe!
Prior to that, Campbell paid a visit to the Circle D ranch which houses Disney incredible team of horses used for parades, special events and more!
And on Earth Day, she took to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to share some of the theme parks beautiful blooms!
We don’t know about you, be we love having these wonderful little snapshots of the theme parks during the closure! Though the re-opening of the parks remains uncertain, there has been some momentum this week in the state of California. Governor Gavin Newsom has devised plans to start re-opening businesses in less affected areas of the state. Bob Iger, former CEO of the Walt Disney Company currently sits on a Task Force where he is advising on how to open businesses in the states.
Though Walt Disney World Resort on the East Coast has announced that they will be opening their downtown shopping district, Disney Springs on May 20th. Neither Disneyland or Walt Disney World resorts have released details regarding a phased re-opening of the parks.
