Star Wars Mythbusters: Luke & Leia’s Deathstar Swing

So, as we head into “Star Wars Day 2020: Lockdown Edition,” I thought I’d point out some of the best “stuff” from a galaxy far, far away.

One of my favorite non-Disney/Star Wars shows of all time was Mythbusters.

In case you were a.) not alive or b.) under a rock, Mythbusters was a show on Discovery:

The MythBusters aim to uncover the truth behind popular myths and legends, mixing scientific method with gleeful curiosity and plain old-fashioned ingenuity to create their own signature style of explosive experimentation.

About Mythbusters

Anyway, the hosts Adam and Jamie busted (or confirmed) myths and urban legends. And sometimes, they would try to recreate Hollywood stunts (and/or see if they’d be possible in real life).

And that’s why Sophia Bush ended up on the show playing (a very convincing) Princess Leia.

However, before we get to that, let’s take a look at a few other Star Wars moments on Mythbusters.

Mythbusting The High Ground

Everyone remembers Obi-Wan’s most famous line from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith:

Another awesome Star Wars moment happened during Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and the Battle of Endor. The Ewoks — a.k.a. murder bears — turned the tables on the Empire’s stormtroopers.
