New “Happily Ever After Hours” Event Announced for Walt Disney Family Museum
With so many families seeking entertainment during their quarantine, we are excited to hear about a new installment for this virtual series. The Walt Disney Family Museum has been regularly offering virtual “Happily Ever After Hours” for your enjoyment.

Happily Ever After Hours
The most recent installment features Marcy Carriker Smothers, who wrote Eat Like Walt: The Wonderful World of Disney Food. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 6th, at 5:30 pm PT. “Happily Ever After Hours” is free, though you do need to register. Be sure to reserve your spot today!
Smothers is an author and radio personality in Northern California. According to her biography, she is passionate about food, wine, and Disney. We can get on board with all three of those things!

The event description states “This event includes a rare opportunity to listen to Lilly and Diane talk about Walt at home—as told to Pete Martin in 1956—and to hear from Walt himself about farm life and meals in Marceline.” In addition, Smothers will be discussing her book and the stories behind it.

During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to have questions answered. Although this event is free, donations to the museum are encouraged. This will be the sixth installment of “Happily Ever After Hours” at the Walt Disney Family Museum. Featured guests have included Bob Gurr, Dave Goelz, and other directors, composers, and producers.
