#PillowChallenge…Princess Mia Style
Princess Mia has taken on Instagram’s popular #PillowChallenge in true Genovian style. Channeling her alter ego, Mia Thermopolis, Anne Hathaway has nailed it.

With her hair tied back, headphones on, black sunglasses and her signature combat boots, she has managed to mimic the original movie poster for “The Princess Diaries”. Only this time with a gown of layered pillows.
And the caption is perfect. Queen Clarisse is quoted, “A Queen is never late; everyone else is simply early.”

Several celebrities have taken the #PillowChallenge. Most just use one pillow and strap it around them. Like Halle Berry:

Anne Hathaway first played Princess Mia in the first film released in 2001. The official description is of a Shy San Francisco teenager Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) is thrown for a loop when, from out of the blue, she learns the astonishing news that she’s a real-life princess! As the heir apparent to the crown of the small European principality of Genovia, Mia begins a comical journey toward the throne when her strict and formidable grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Julie Andrews), shows up to give her “princess lessons.”
The film was followed by The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2004 where Mia becomes engaged to a very handsome royal. Rumors of The Princess Diaries 3: Royal Wedding soon sprouted. We can expect the third movie “sometime in 2020”.
