Disney Cruise Line Continues to Make Magic Even During the Shutdown.
Just because the ships of Disney Cruise Line aren’t brimming with passengers doesn’t mean the magic stops happening. Since Disney made the decisions to anchor all departures, the company continues to focus on the well-being of the cast and crew members. To keep busy and to help others during these uncertain times, the crew members have been working on several Disney VoluntEars projects that we here at MickeyBlog are excited to tell you about.
While still adhering to social distancing guidelines, Crew Members still onboard Disney’s ships have teamed up with organizations including Starlight Children’s Foundation and Foundation for Hospital Art to bring pixie dust to others during these difficult times!
Crew members have been hard at work on multi-panelled murals inspired by classic Disney characters and films. These creations will be going to the Foundation For Hospital Art who will donate the pieces to hospitals. The mission of this incredible charity is to bring comfort and hope to people by placing art in healthcare facilities around the world.

Crew members have also dedicated time to package and decorate greeting cards featuring Disney-inspired designs. These will be delivered to children at the Starlight Children’s Foundation network of medical facilities. This foundation has brought smiles to the faces of over 16 million children and families with its focus on hospitalized kids.
