Serena Williams as a Disney Princess?
Many celebrities have been showing their love for Disney during the COVID-19 isolation. We’ve had bedtime stories from Jeff Goldblum, Disney songs from Broadway actors, and many, many instagram posts. Serena Williams is an unlikely candidate for channeling Disney, but social media sometimes brings out the Disney in all of us.
Her recent Tik Tok video and Instagram post shows Serena dresses as Snow White “baking” a pie. Well, microwaving a pie, but no judgement here. She pokes fun at herself, turning to get the pie from the microwave, so viewers can see the dress is too small and won’t zip in the back.

Her caption “Snow Back” seals the humor. “Speaking of backs,” Williams sang, referencing her opening line, “my dress doesn’t fit in the back.” With almost 4,000 comments many thought Serena has finally lost her mind, like many of us, in the isolation.
“This girl has lost her mind” and “I think we’ve all been cooped up too long”.
Really, Serena is just a Disney fan trying to find some magic in a time where magic is hard to find.
