Disney Cast Members Struggle to Return to Italy
The Coronavirus continues to negatively affect the lives of so many people. For international workers, finding a means to return home has proved more difficult than anticipated. A story by Fox 35 Orlando explains how Disney Cast Members struggle to find a way home to Italy. This struggle has proven stressful and exhausting for the workers, who simply want to go home to their families.
Contracted employee Andrea Venditti will soon find himself out of housing, after already finding himself out of a job. He shared with Fox 35 Orlando that around 140 Italian workers like himself are contracted through a company called Delaware North, that did not give the workers enough notice to make arrangements.

Cast Members Struggle with Finding Flights Home
It is hard to find a flight due to travel restrictions set in place for public safety. This jeopardizes the work visas for workers like Venditti. He will need to find employment or return home before his visa expires. Fortunately, after reaching out to their embassy there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Venditti reports to Fox 35 Orlando that after weeks without work, he hopes to return home this weekend. This would surely be a happy ending for this young man!

The Current State of the Coronavirus
The Coronavirus has caused stress and anxiety for billions of people globally, and the United States has endured a particularly heavy hit in recent weeks. As of this week, the President and many state governors have begun to discuss plans for loosening restrictions. This decision is controversial, and many fear a rebound spike in the virus. Others fear the continued strain on the economy, and hope that things open sooner rather than later.
