Celebrate Earth Month With A Bit of Help From Disney and the Magic of Nature
So we may not be able to stroll through Discovery Island, stand gazing at the Tree of Life or explore the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail but that doesn’t mean we can celebrate Earth Month as if we were there!
Throughout April, Disney will be sharing the Magic of Nature with Disney fans and animal lovers of all ages. Conservation and protection has always been an important priority across Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. It shines through in so many aspects of what Disney does at the Animal Kingdom theme park. This includes things like reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste across the business as well as working to protect the magic of nature.
As we inch ever closer to the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd, fans are encouraged to take a moment and appreciate nature while at home. A great starting point is Disney Magic Moments (a new website launched by Disney to keep you connected to the magic while at home) as well as NatGeo@Home.

It’s a great opportunity to pull from Disney’s awesome team of specialists to have some of your burning questions about wildlife and the environment.
So connect with Dr. Mark on Instagram, Keep following along with MickeyBlog, visit Disney Magic Moments and celebrate Earth Day the Disney way even if you can’t be at the theme parks.
Also, Dr. Mark provided us with a handful of awesome articles outlining ways that Disney is involved in sustainability and conservation Some of the ideas here are fantastic especially for kids schooling from home.
