Behind-the-Scenes Work Continues on Walt Disney World’s Next Resort: Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge
Pretty much all construction has been halted at Walt Disney World amid the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. However, that doesn’t mean that Imagineers have also just quit working behind-the-scenes! We recently stumbled upon permits that were recently filed for the upcoming Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge Resort.
The permits filed for the next Walt Disney World Resort,Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge areas include: bus stop and covered parkway, outdoor structure, pool restroom building, security kiosk, table service restaurant, and transportation dock. Of these permits, the one that sticks out to me the most is the table service restaurant. While it could be another table service restaurant, I am hoping it’s the one that will have a “Princess and the Frog” theme!
As we previously reported, Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge will feature a “Princess and the Frog” themed restaurant. This announcement was made during the past D23 Expo. Not many other details were provided at the time, but we do know the restaurant will look similar to this:
An opening date for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge has not yet been announced. As you can imagine, it will most likely be pushed back a few months due to the current work stoppage.
