In Honor of Earth Month Here Are Some More Awesome Baby Animals
We may be stuck indoors but let’s not forget that its national Earth Month! And though the crowds won’t be flocking to the Animal Kingdom for this year’s celebrations, it is important to remember the month as well as the incredible efforts of cast members at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park who continue to care for the animals that call this magical land “Home.”
Spring is also in the air and one of the things keeping us going over the past few weeks have been the adorable baby animal photos that Disney has been sending our way! That’s why we simply couldn’t wait to share a few from the archives with you!
Awesome photographer David Roark shared some photos on Disney Parks Blog of some noteworthy new arrivals and we couldn’t wait to share them with our readers! The first two images you’ll find above are of a mother gorilla Kashata and her baby Grace. Grace was born last May and these images beautifully capture some of those nurturing moments between mother and daughter.
We love the way Grace’s little arm cuddles her mom and the perfectly contented look on both of their faces. Grace is just mere weeks away from celebrating her first birthday. When Animal Kingdom re-opens you’ll have to pop by the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail to check her out!
We’ve got another awesome image for you above of 4-month bold baby Sumatran tigers. These pictures of Anala and Jeda date back to 2017. Using a 600mm super-telephoto lens this shot brilliantly captures that magical moment where one cub has the other cub’s tail in their mouth! Absolutely priceless!
Keep following along with MickeyBlog and we’ll continue to bring the magic to you throughout the COVID-19 shutdown.
