The American Flag Still Flies Over the Magic Kingdom

Every morning, sometime before the park opens, the American Flag is raised over the Magic Kingdom.  Every evening at 5:00pm the flag retreat ceremony is performed and the American Flag is lowered for the night. Now, during the closure, Disney Security Cast Members make sure the flag still flies.

Josh D’Amaro is right.  The world looks very different right now.  We cling to familiar routine in times of change. The flag is a symbol of strength and we thank those cast members who keep this routine going every morning.  And like Mickey himself often says “See ya real soon!”
