David Harbour Is On Board With ‘Black Widow’ Going Straight to Digital
Stranger Things star David Harbour who plays the role of the Red Guardian in Marvel’s upcoming release Black Widow has said that he’s all for the film being released for streaming while the coronavirus pandemic continues.
The film, devoted to Scarlett Johansson’s much-loved Marvel character Natasha Romanoff was originally slated to hit theaters on May 1st. However, cinemas nationwide are currently closed the future seems a bit uncertain.
Along with other projects like Disney’s highly anticipated live-action Mulan, Black Widow’s release date has now been officially delayed until further notice.
Harbour took to Instagram earlier this week for a question and answer session where called the delay of the film’s release a “Shocker.” Later when speaking to The Independent he added, “Wouldn’t it be fun if we all could just stream it? But that’s above my pay grade.”
While the future of Black Widow remains uncertain, here’s a quick look at the official trailer. Regardless of when it’s released, we here at MickeyBlog are super excited.
