Prior to marrying into the British Royal Family, Markle was an actress best known for her role in Suits. Her and husband Prince Harry made the decision to step away from Royal duties earlier this year to escape the constant attention from the British media.
As the DailyMail UK points out, there has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks that Meghan was working on a project with Disney.
Over the Summer, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a Lion King screening event where Prince Harry apparently pitched his wife’s voiceover skills to former Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger. The moment with was caught on camera with Prince Harry asking Bob Iger, “”You know she does voiceovers?” Iger can be heard replying “Oh, really?” before Harry repeats: “Did you know that?”
This week marks Harry and Meghan’s last week as official members of the Royal Family. From April 1st, the couple will start their new lives out of the royal spotlight. The couple are currently residing in Canada.
The royal family has also been in the news this week with the announcement that Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19. As of going to print, he is reporting that his symptoms are mild.
