Tom Hanks Urges “Sheltering In Place”
For an actor whose characters’ arcs take him on wide swings from wanting to stay home to wanting to get home and needing to leave home, in this moment Tom Hanks is totally embracing the former.

Woody’s voice, newly recovered from the coronavirus/Covid-19, made the point that his recovery and reclusion had a genesis in social distancing.

We Can Figure This Out

Hanks’ advice to the world? It was simple. Stay home.
Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better. Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone – You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts…this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out. Hanx”
Thank You, Tom
Let’s pause: In a world where so many things are failing us, isn’t it great to maintain at least a couple of role models?
Anyway, as we reported a few days ago, Hanks’ social media is a must follow.

This was from last week, and I love the line, “I traveled here with a typewriter, one I used to love.”
Obviously, all of the advice and good humor leads us to one conclusion: We’ve all got a friend in Tom Hanks.
